Terms & Conditions | RayStarCEO

Booking & Payment

​

  • A mandatory deposit is required to secure any event date.

  • The remaining balance must be paid no later than 48 hours before the event, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

  • All payments are non-refundable, except in circumstances outlined in the cancellation section below.

        Accepted payment methods include:

  • Bank Transfer

  • PayPal

  • Manual Payment (upon agreement)

Event Details & Communication

​

  • The client is responsible for providing accurate event information, including venue address, date, time, access availability, and any special instructions.

  • Any changes must be communicated at least 7 days before the event.

  • Failure to update critical event details may result in delays or cancellation without refund.

Venue Requirements

​

The client must ensure the venue provides:

  • A safe and reliable power supply.

  • Clear setup space for DJ equipment and sound system.

  • Dry and sheltered area if the event is outdoors.

  • Sufficient time before the event for setup and sound checks.

If the environment is unsafe or unsuitable for equipment, RayStarCEO reserves the right to halt setup, postpone performance, or cancel service with no refund.

Equipment Safety & Responsibility

  • All equipment remains the property of RayStarCEO at all times.

  • The client is responsible for ensuring guests do not damage or interfere with equipment.

  • Any damage caused by the client, guests, or venue staff will result in a damage charge equal to repair or replacement costs.

Performance & Music

​

  • RayStarCEO tailors music to your event style and preferences.

  • The client may provide a playlist, request songs, or specify genres.

  • Requests will be honored where appropriate and suitable to the overall atmosphere.

  • The DJ reserves the right to use professional judgment to ensure the best experience for the majority of guests.

Working Conditions

​

  • RayStarCEO is not obligated to perform in environments that are unsafe, abusive, or discriminatory.

  • If at any point RayStarCEO or staff feel threatened, mistreated, or placed in harm, the performance will be stopped without refund.

Overtime

​

  • If the client requests additional play time on the day of the event:

  • Overtime is charged at £70 per hour, payable before extension begins.

  • Overtime is subject to venue restrictions and schedule availability.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

​

If the client cancels:

  • Deposits are non-refundable, regardless of reason.

  • If cancellation occurs within 14 days of the event, the full remaining balance is still due.

  • In the rare event that RayStarCEO is unable to fulfill the booking due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances:

  • A full refund will be issued without delay.

  • RayStar will (optional) help find a suitable professional replacement.

Media & Promotion

By booking, the client agrees that RayStarCEO may capture short video or photo content during the event for promotional use, unless the client requests otherwise in writing before the event.

No footage of minors will be used without explicit consent.

Agreement

​

By paying your deposit or full booking fee, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
